I don't have a catchy name for the BMW like Carlo has for the Yellow Turbo. However, I do have a catchy (yet subtle) signature that combines my name and BMW Motorsports... ///Michael.
Carlo and Lesan was at John and May's house and they drove the Yellow Turbo. This is one photogenic car!
Carlo, John, and I went shooting at the Bullet Trap a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that, the last time I went shooting was... wow, about a year ago. I haven't cleaned the arsenal since that time so I figured it was time for a cleaning. Pictured at the top is "Dr. Evil," a fullsize Heckler-Koch USP9 and pictured at the bottom is "Mini-Me," a USP9 Compact. Next time we go to the gun range, I'll have to get Rich to come along and we'll have a 3 Flips and a Viet shooting party... or 3 HK's and a Glock shooting party -- Rich has an HK USP Tactical (my next handgun!).
Part Chihuahua and part Yorkshire Terrier makes Rockie a cute and cuddly dog. I call him "shag rug" because his fur is very soft and resembles shag carpeting. He looks kind of scary in this picture. Maybe I should have turned on red-eye reduction.
After sharing a dish of bulgogi and galbi, we shared a dish of tempura ice cream. Basically like fried ice cream at the Texas State Fair, but better.
When I got Thomas, it was on the condition that he would be walked and bathed regularly. And not by me since it was not my idea to get a dog. Well, that lasted all of a year, what was I thinking. So what we have here is a dingy and yellowy dog that is in dire need of a bath and a haircut. Anyway, Thomas is very camera shy and will usually look away from the camera. This is a very rare moment where he sticks his tongue out at me!
I swear this is the laziest dog ever. Thomas does not like it when I take pictures of him so he usually looks away or runs away. Here he is laying upside down, spread eagle with his head in the crook of Becky's leg. I guess the cold really brings the lazy out in him.
An hour later, we're halfway to work until the call to turn around comes in.
Who would be this crazy to get on the roads?
I wasn't quite expecting this, this morning.
Had some surgery done on me last Wednesday that left me in the hospital all week. Good news is that I'm still alive (and kicking). Bad news is that I don't know if I'm completely fixed -- the doctor didn't have an answer. Anyway, this is a pic of the IV shortly after the admitting nurse put it in me. I hate needles. God, oh God, I hate needles.
25 degrees this morning! Living out in the boondocks means that the roads were a giant sheet of ice. I nearly dorifto'd the M3 onto a curb at 10mph. The yellow traction light was a permanent tachometer fixture.
