Pictured here is a bit of lunchtime goodness that Kevin, Craig, Mike, and I encountered... at Chick-Fil-A of all places. On "Jodi's" way out, she asked to borrow Kevin's pen. We thought nothing of it until she dropped his pen with this note on our table and scurried out. I think she heard Craig say "wow" one time too many and figured we were perverts. What a great attempt to drum up business during shitty times.

With the wedding coming up, Becky and I are in saving mode. We weren't planning on buying a new TV, especially since we bought 2 new ones a little over a year ago, but this deal was too farking good to pass up.

Conn's had the Samsung HL61A750 61" 1080p LED DLP for sale at $999.97. In comparison, Best Buy had it on sale for $1500 and they would not price match Conn's sale price. If that's not enough to convince you, every fricken Conn's in DFW was sold out.

The guy over the phone said they would still match the price -- we would just have to wait for when they come back in stock. Minor inconvenience, but decided it was worth it. So we went to our closest location, bought and paid for it. Interestingly enough, our sales guy told us that if we wanted to risk it, then their Carrollton warehouse may still have a few there awaiting delivery. Hmmm... 17 mile drive from the Plano store to the Carrollton warehouse to potentially come back empty handed... ah what the hell, we had nothing better to do!

To our surprise (and luck), the Carrollton warehouse did have one and with our name on it!

Don't mind the SOAP Net channel playing in the background. This is really Becky's TV. My TV is upstairs where I can play my games. But it's only 46".

Just earlier that day, Lawton did not know what to order at First Chinese BBQ. Right when I doubted his Chinese-ness, he pulls this siht on me. When he saw Lion's Head Meatballs on the menu at Yao Fuzi, he was giddy like a virgin Catholic schoolgirl.

GD Jimmy, those are some really tasty meatballs.
