While we were waiting for the Pulte model to open, this house caught my eye in the background so we decided to drive on over and check it out. This section of the community is gated (From the $590k's) and this particular home is being custom built by Sotherby Homes -- I could not find the floorplan on the website. It has a staggering 4-car garage (one bay on one side, two on the other, and another tucked in on the right side). I should have followed my better judgement and not walked inside.

I ran across your blog and noticed the post about the Sotherby Model you saw being constructed. Do you remember what the square footage of this house is. I'm looking to buy in the area and I have a realtor who is trying to convence me that this house is only 5000 SQ Ft. I never saw it inside but from the outside, I'm thinking 8000 sq.ft.
